Welcome to this new blog – half excited, half reluctant, I am starting this with the aim of using it as a tool to share valuable and important ideas, information and experiences that will help me and my friends to live out a life of faith and goodness based on the person of Jesus, who invites us to follow him and experience the ‘good news’ of his brand new way of life.
Central to this whole thing is that it is an invitation to join a conversation and its completely voluntary – defined by your own internal desire to follow Jesus. Many, many hours have been spent (by myself…and countless others) trying to teach, inform, inspire…compel(?!) people to think, believe, live a certain way… Did it work? A little, perhaps.
Here there is no compulsion, no insistence. Just an invitation. Perhaps what’s written and shared here will help you to some degree living out your life as part of the great family of faith.
